Mark Ruffalo was hesitant to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe as he wasn’t sure how he could make the role of The Hulk his own.

The 52-year-old actor told Jimmy Fallon during The Tonight Show on Friday (May 8, 2020) that it was co-star Robert Downey, Jr.
