The star of the Martin Scorsese film then went on to blast alternate facts, the state of the nation, and Donald Trump’s “lies” — and the fact that the former president used ‘Pocahontas” as a slur. “The beginning of my speech was edited, cut out..and I want to read it,” he said to the big crowd at Cipriani Wall Street to loud applause. “History isn’t history any more.
Truth is not truth…Lying has become just another tool in the charlatan’s arsenal.” The film also stars Lily Gladstone, Leonardo DiCaprio, Tantoo Cardinal, Cara Jade Myers, Jillian Dion, JaNae Collins, William Belleau, Yancey Redcorn, Talee Redcorn.
The Martin Scorses film by Apple, distributed by Paramount, didn’t submit for the Gothams despite the awards having lifted a budget cap — previously set at $35 million — for eligibility.
