According to New York City's chief medical examiner, Leandro De Niro Rodriguez died from the toxic effects of fentanyl, bromazolam, alprazolam, 7-aminoclonazepam, ketamine, and cocaine.The medical examiner has ruled Leandro's death as an accidental overdose.The 19 year old passed away on 2 July 2023.
Leandro was found 'unconscious and unresponsive' after a 911 call to a building on Wall Street in New York, according to police reports.
His death was announced by his mother, Dren De Niro, who shared the tragic news on Instagram and paid tribute to her "beautiful sweet angel".
Before it was confirmed by a toxicology report, Drena, the daughter of Hollywood actor Robert and actress Diahnne Abbott, claimed her son had taken pills laced with fentanyl.
