Robbie Williams 'almost died with mercury poisoning due to extreme seafood diet'

Robbie Williams has revealed that he could have faced death if he hadn't changed his very seafood orientated diet. The 46-year-old former Take That singer spoke out about the moment that he was told he had high levels of mercury poisoning in his body, and how he could have "dropped dead" due to it.

Robbie said that he was enjoying eating octopus, squid and tuna so much, that he was putting himself at risk as much of it was contaminated.

It was only after a routine blood test that the singer found out that he was in trouble and that he was actually putting his life at risk if he carried on eating the levels of fish he was.
