Lockdown has played havoc with my eating habits and I’ve become addicted to jam butties. So I have to be careful because I’ve had a battle with my weight for decades.

I wouldn’t say I was fat as a child: more like pleasantly plump. I lost it all by the time I was 16 and I became quite smart.

I was 9st when I fell pregnant with my oldest Jonathan. The nurse told me I should really only put on a stone from start to finish.

She told me off when I reached 14st 11lbs. My addiction for cheese and onion baked in the oven was to blame. I ate it four times a day when I was expecting.
