Robbie Neilson has confirmed Hearts' injury crisis is starting to ease as he provided a positive update on the return of star defenders Craig Halkett and Kye Rowles.
Although the Tynecastle boss revealed Gary MacKay-Steven will be sidelined with a broken foot until after the World Cup, which runs through to December 18.
Halkett has had his season disrupted by hamstring trouble and Rowles fractured his matarasal while scoring his first Hearts goal against St Johnstone on August 28 and is still recovering.
And Neilson knows not having a full squad has been far from ideal but he reckons things should get better in the coming weeks. “No centre-backs yet.
