Rob Burrow's widow hopes people will remember 'what a great guy he was' in final podcast
ok.co.ukRob Burrow's brave widow Lindsey has opened up about the joy her late husband found in recording his final podcast series, telling fans she hopes they will hear some of the "fun and laughter" the former rugby league star experienced before his sad passing from motor neurone disease (MND).
Lindsey was there supporting Rob as he made his last audio appearances and desires that listeners "remember what a great guy Rob was" when tuning in.
Starting September 26, which would have marked his 42nd birthday, five new episodes of the heartfelt series, titled 'Rob Burrow Seven, Meets,' will drop on BBC Sounds and BBC Radio Leeds.
Speaking touchingly about Rob's spirit during the recordings, Lindsey shared: "Rob had so much enjoyment recording the podcast.
