'Road rage' video shows pair of drivers speeding through Bolton's streets

A dashcam video showing a pair of "road rage" drivers has been shared by police. The footage shows two vehicles which appear to be speeding along Bury New Road, Bolton, towards the junction with Radcliffe Road.

The duo in question are taxi driver Aamir Rashid and Alan Lythgoe, who handed the video to police after the incident. It shows Mr Lythgoe swearing at the other driver as he tries to set off at the traffic lights at the junction of Folds Road.

After the taxi fails to speed up, the other man overtakes and speeds off. Eventually, Mr Lythgoe slows down to try and turn down Radcliffe Road but is hit by Mr Rashid who slams into the back of his vehicle.
