A thug driver who crashed into a top-of-the-range Audi and then smashed it with a hammer has been jailed.Mark Hardie, 34, raced after Lewis Flynn in Glasgow’s Govan area last September.He careered into Flynn’s Audi Q3, barging it on to the other side of the road, before getting out and taking a hammer to the motor.Hardie pled guilty to dangerous driving and acting in a threatening or abusive manner by smashing Flynn’s car window.The incident happened after Hardie’s partner, a trainee nurse, spotted Flynn outside a bank and the accused began his “pursuit” in the city’s Govan Road.Prosecutor Mark Allan said: “Hardie used his own Audi to strike the side of Mr Flynn’s vehicle.
