KJ Apa broke down in tears after finally getting a “shard of metal” out of his eye following a dramatic experience that was documented on his Instagram account.

The 23-year-old Riverdale actor posted a two-minute video on social media in which his friend and hairstylist Jason Schneidman helps him remove the piece of metal from his eye. “Bro, it’s stuck in there, bro.

It’s really stuck,” KJ said at one point while looking in the mirror. “I have to work tomorrow.” KJ ended up using a cotton swab to get the shard out of his eye.

When his friends confirmed that the shard was removed, he broke down. “a shard of metal got stuck in my eyeball,” he captioned the post, which you can see below.
