River City star Iain Robertson was touched by the "amazing kindness" of a stranger after being caught short on a recent trip to a popular Scots tourist spot.
The Small Faces actor was visiting the Rest and Be Thankful in Argyll and Bute and stopped to get a bite to eat at the mobile food van positioned at the top of the hill.
But when Iain went to pay, he realised he had no cash, and was left blown away when a man he'd never met stepped in and insisted on helping him out.
Iain, who plays Stevie O'Hara in the long-running BBC Scotland drama, was so inspired by the gesture that he took to social media to give his thanks.He said: "Yesterday I dropped into the amazing mobile food van at the Rest and Be Thankful.
