Rita Sahatçiu Ora (born 26 November 1990) is an English singer, songwriter and actress. She rose to prominence in February 2012 when she featured on DJ Fresh's single "Hot Right Now", which reached number one in the UK. Her debut studio album, Ora, released in August 2012, debuted at number one in the United Kingdom. The album contained the UK number-one singles, "R.I.P." and "How We Do (Party)". Ora was the artist with the most number-one singles on the UK Singles Chart in 2012, with three singles reaching the top position.

evoke.iePop star Rita Ora has been forced to apologise for a second time for breaching COVID restrictions in the UK. This time the 30-year-old flew to Egypt for a private performance on 21 November but failed to self-isolate upon her return.
Under the UK rules, much like in Ireland, she should have isolated for two weeks. Making things even worse, she instead threw a birthday party in London, which was itself in violation of lockdown rules.
The singer apologised for throwing a birthday bash in a restaurant. On her social media channels she said she realised she had made an ‘inexcusable error in judgment’ as she realises ‘how irresponsible these actions were’.
