Archie Gray has been told he can “get better options than Manchester United” in the summer transfer market ahead of a possible move away from Leeds United.
The youngster, 18 today, has starred for Leeds in the Championship this season, having mostly played at right-back despite being a natural midfield pivot.
He has played in all but two league games this season, starting 32 of his 35 outings. Gray’s rise is said to have caught the attention of several Premier League clubs, including Man United.
He admitted in February that he had no intention of leaving mid-season despite January exit links but his future at Leeds could depend on promotion.
