Rio Ferdinand says football fans are being denied the chance to see "generational talent" Gareth Bale in action as his standoff with Real Madrid continues.
The Welshman is absent from the Real squad which takes on Manchester City in the Champions League on Friday evening, and he was pictured playing golf back in Spain on the afternoon of the game.
