Rio Ferdinand has cheekily offered his services "off the pitch" to Ryan Reynolds for Wrexham, following the club's impressive run of promotions.
Hollywood star Reynolds and his business partner, Rob McElhenney, became the talk of the town when they took over the Welsh club in November 2020, after a season that saw Wrexham narrowly escape relegation by finishing 19th.
Under their ownership, the club's fortunes have dramatically improved with significant investment leading to an 8th place finish in the National League in 2020/21, second place in 2021/22, and finally being crowned champions in 2023 to secure promotion.
Building on this momentum, Wrexham achieved back-to-back promotions, ascending to League One at the end of the 2023/24 season, finishing just behind Stockport with 88 points.
