Rihanna Brings Back 2000s Trend Of Wearing A Skirt Over Pants For Latest Outing With A$AP Rocky
justjared.comRihanna got everyone’s attention in a full red on red look in New York City! The 35-year-old singer stepped out for a late night dinner with partner, A$AP Rocky, on Sunday night (April 23).
For the outing, Rihanna showed off her growing baby bump (she’s expecting her second child with Rocky) all while wearing a semi-controversial trend from the early 2000s – wearing a skirt over pants!
Her look consisted of a sheer turtleneck top and a body-con skirt worn, which she wore over her matching flared pants, with a pair of strappy heels. Rihanna is not the first to try and bring back this trend – actress Katie Holmes pulled out the look for the 2022 Jingle Ball in December. Katie‘s stylist, Brie Welch, said that the look was “more youthful feel for Jingle Ball and the atmosphere there” at the time.
