Richard Hammond has revealed that he was once 'so broke' that he had to sell his motorbike in order to pay for toilet roll. The 51-year-old Grand Tour presenter, who is now said to be worth around £15 million, revealed that he had fallen on tough times earlier on in his career.
Richard was working at a local radio station after leaving university but found himself struggling with debt after spending his earnings on a motorcycle.
As well as hopping between front room bed-sits, Richard admitted that he was 'beyond broke' to the extent that his credit card was then declined.
