Richard Hammond has shared an update on his pal Chris Evans, after it was revealed the latter was diagnosed with cancer. The former Top Gear host revealed on Good Morning Britain this morning that radio DJ Chris is "always busy" and is "doing good" following his diagnosis earlier this week.
On Monday, Chris shared to his social media fans that he had been diagnosed with the disease. It comes eight years after Chris was first given the all clear from the disease after a battle with prostate cancer.
But he added that his most recent diagnosis is as "treatable as cancer can possibly be" as it was also caught really early. Richard, who is due to join up with pal Chris at Car Fest this weekend, told GMB's Adil Ray and Charlotte Hawkins: "He's good.
He's fine. I saw him last night with a load of other people. "It was found really early. But he's flat out bonkers, he's always busy." After revealing to his fans that he had the disease, he shared that he would be hosting his radio show live from Car Fest over the Bank Holiday weekend.
