Richard Donner has sadly died at the age of 91. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the famed director passed away just recently.
No cause of death has been revealed at this time. Richard started as an actor in New York before heading behind the camera.
His career really took over when he helmed 1976′s The Omen, which was a $2 million film that grossed $60 million in the U.S.
and spawned two sequels. He was best known for The Goonies, Lethal Weapon and Superman. He also directed The Toy, Inside Moves, and Scrooged.
