A man who has been wanted by police for 27 years has appeard in court. Richard Burrows appeared at Chester Crown Court and was remanded in custody.
The 80-year-old is set to appear again at the same court on June 21. He had been charged with two counts of buggery and 11 counts of indecent assault.
The charges related to the historic abuse of children and some are alleged to have happened between 1969 and 1971, in Cheshire said police.
Some were reported to have happened in a children's home in Congleton, while others were alleged to have happened in the West Midlands between 1971 and 1981.
