Richard Bacon has admitted that his sacking from Blue Peter could have been much worse if social media was around in the 90s.
The TV presenter, 45, was forced to hand in his Blue Peter badge in 1998 after he was captured taking cocaine. Thankfully for the former The Big Breakfast presenter he managed to steer his career back on track and is now a successful TV producer based in Los Angeles, where he has lived since 2014.
The former BBC radio host told The Sun : "I want to make a show where we pick a handful of people who were cancelled and debate whether it was right or wrong. "Cancel culture is about rushing to judgment.
