A former semi-pro footballer dad was left in tears after being offered the chance of a lifetime, worth £24,000, by a millionaire who was left stunned by the sacrifices he has made for his family.
Michael Howard, 31, and wife Natasha, 28, scrape by on just £100 with their two children despite the former footballer working six days a week and Natasha as a part-time as a lab technician.
His job managing a sports shop means that Michael has to drive a 13-mile round trip to work, six days a week, from his three-bedroom, semi-detached home in Lincolnshire.
