Manchester airport may be in serious disarray, but at least there’s now somewhere to get a steaming bowl of ramen while you wait for your luggage to materialise.
The Wagamama noodle chain has opened its latest branch at the airport’s Terminal 2. The new spot opened its doors last Friday, with all of the chain’s airport restaurants now having re-opened across the country too following the pandemic closures, at Gatwick South and North and at Heathrow T3 and T5.
The Manchester airport branch will serve breakfast until 11am every day, including dishes like kedgeree, eggs benedict served with Japanese steamed buns, a sausage katsu stack, and an English breakfast.
There are also vegan options like goji berry and apple pancakes and coconut porridge. The Manchester T2 branch, meanwhile, will boast its own exclusive juice on the menu, as well as a tailored gin from Thomas Dakin called the Gin+T2.
