The Moss Nook near Manchester Airport had won acclaim for its cuisine and graced the pages of culinary guidebooks for over 30 years before closing in 2011.
Last year, the site on Trenchard Drive and Ringway Road was bought by the Salford -based real estate developer Newpark Group and Hale Leisure Limited with a view of bringing it back into use.
