Despite the government urging people not to panic-buy fuel queues are continuing to form as people rush to fill up. As a result drivers are now only be permitted to buy a certain amount of petrol or diesel at more than 350 forecourts.
According to The Mirror, it has been reported that at least half of stations across the country have run out of fuel. Petrol Retailers Association (PRA) reported the alarming survey of its independent members - as oil giant BP warned that almost a third of its sites had no supplies.
