It came following a number of crashes in the area involving serious injuries.Officers say they have been carrying out increased visibility and speed enforcement to combat the issue.On Monday, within the space of a few hours, police issued 14 speeding tickets, one ticket for having no MOT, one drug wipe and one stop and search for drugs.The incidents happened on Dumers Lane and Bury Road.One of the drivers issued a ticket was one of those who first wrote to police complaining about speeding.
