Research highlights urgent need for more private housing development in North Lanarkshire

Research from Rettie & Co., commissioned by Hallam Land, has highlighted the urgent need for more private housing development in North Lanarkshire.The report reveals that more than 32 per cent of all households in the area face some form of housing need, compared to an average of 28 per cent across Scotland.With household growth and increasing housing demand, North Lanarkshire has seen a significant overall decline in private housing delivery since the 2008 financial crisis.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
