Renfrewshire thug caged after threatening family member and subjecting partner to domestic abuse

A twisted Renfrewshire brute has been jailed after he made threats to “slap about” a family member and domestically abused a former partner.

Jamie Collins engaged in a vile course of conduct towards his ex-partner and a family member over the course of a near two-year period.The 33-year-old sent abusive and threatening text messages, made threats of violence and posted sickening stories on social media between October 2022 and May 2024.

Procurator fiscal depute Jason Stark told Paisley Sheriff Court Collins had been charged with domestic abuse and placing another woman in a state of fear or alarm.
