Armistice day is upon us once more, and the country will again fall silent to remember the sacrifices so few made for so many.
The day is also an opportunity to show support to serving and former members of the Armed Forces and their families. It is now 103 years since the guns fell silent on the battlefields of Belgium and France, ending the conflict that was World War One.
And every year Remembrance Day is marked on the Sunday on or after November 11. This year, it's on Sunday, November 14.
