HOLLYOAKS' Ravi Roy looks very different 12 years after leaving the Channel 4 drama. Actor Stephen Uppal played the "cheeky jack-the-lad" doorman at the local club, The Loft, with his character taking on some heavy storylines including a brain aneurysm and fighting local thugs.
Ravi was also central to a bisexual storyline and taking on bad boy Warren. When he was first cast Stephen described his character saying: "Ravi certainly makes an impression when he arrives at Hollyoaks. "His cocky attitude gets him a job as doorman at The Loft and he certainly wins over resident bad-boy, Warren, with his cheek. "There’s also some chemistry between Ravi and Nancy, but if Nancy likes him, she’ll have to get her skates on before man-eater Mercedes beats her to it." The 40-year-old Stephen joined Hollyoaks in 2008, but announced he was leaving the show just two years later “Sorry guys, yes I decided to leave a while back," he tweeted at the time.
