Annika Pham As Lille’s giant Series Mania confab kicks off March 21, REinvent International Sales has announced a fresh pick up in the crime show “The Pushover.” The six-parter is based on author Lone Theils’ sixth book in her best-selling Nora Sand franchise, published in more than 20 countries, including the UK, France, Germany, Spain and Scandinavia.

The series is the second TV adaptation featuring high-flying Danish journalist Nora Sand after the hit show “Fatal Crossing,” sold by REinvent to multiple territories, including Global Series Network/Walter Presents for the UK/Ireland, Lumiere Group for Benelux, TV4 for Sweden/Finland, Encripta for Latin America and Telepool for France and Germany.

Reuniting “Fatal Crossing” scribes Arne Berggren and Kristine Berg, helmer Magnus Berggren and Marie Sandø in the title role, “The Pushover” sets off when a woman is found dead in her pool in an upscale neighborhood.

Suspicion falls on her boyfriend, Tom, a notorious con artist and Tinder-swindler. When he unexpectedly turns himself in, he admits to fraud but insists her death was an accident.
