Regina Hall has booked her next movie role! On Friday (March 21), it was announced that the 54-year-old Girls Trip actress has joined the cast of the upcoming untitled comedy starring Zac Efron and Will Ferrell, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Here’s a plot summary: “The story follows a young convict fresh out of prison who takes a reality TV courtroom hostage, blaming the megalomaniac TV judge, played by Ferrell, for a past ruling that the convict feels ruined his life. Zac will star as the convict.” Keep reading to find out more…As of right now, details surrounding Regina‘s role are being kept under wraps. Nicholas Stoller will be directing the movie from a script he also wrote.

Earlier this week, the first teaser trailer for Regina‘s upcoming movie One Battle After Another, which she stars in alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, and Teyana Taylor, was released.
