Reed Birney, Kieron Moore Starring in Elliot Tuttle’s Provocative Indie ‘Blue Film’ (EXCLUSIVE)

Brent Lang Executive Editor Reed Birney and Kieron Moore will star in “Blue Film,” a provocative indie about a fetish camboy who agrees to spend the night with an anonymous client, only to discover a disturbing tie to his past.

The film is the feature debut of writer and director Elliot Tuttle. It wrapped production this year and is aiming to hit the early 2025 festival circuit.

Birney is an acclaimed stage and screen actor. He won a Tony and numerous other awards and nominations for plays including “The Humans,” “Casa Valentina,” and “Man From Nebraska.” On television, he can be seen in the most recent season of “American Horror Story”.

He was also recently on Peacock’s “Poker Face”, and “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.” Other TV credits include HBO’s “Succession” and Hulu’s “The Handmaid’s Tale.” He is also well known for his performance as Vice President Donald Blythe in the Netflix series “House of Cards.” In film, Birney received a Gotham Award nomination for his performance in “Mass” and also appeared in “The Menu” and “The Hunt.” He will next be seen in the second chapter of Kevin Costner’s “Horizon.” Moore appears in the Peacock series “Vampire Academy.” He also appeared alongside Austin Butler and Barry Keoghan in “Masters of the Air” for Apple TV+ and in third season of Netflix’s “Sex Education.” Moore recently completed a series regular role on the upcoming Netflix series “Corps” and is currently shooting the BritBox/ITV series “Code of Silence.” The film’s consulting producer Mark Duplass has been a mentor to Tuttle, and previously executive produced his podcast series “Lina’s Song,” which starred Hari Nef and Dylan Gelula.
