Recruitment process at Girvan nursing home 'not safe' and concerns raised over quality of care

An Ayrshire nursing home is under fire from the Care Inspectorate over its standards of care towards residents – and having an ‘unsafe’ recruitment process.Ainslie Manor nursing home, in Girvan’s Stranraer Road, was graded as ‘weak’ across three quality indicators which is the second-lowest grading possible.The home was also graded as ‘adequate’ across two other quality indicators.Ainslie Manor nursing home is registered to provide care to 45 older people, although there were 36 people living there at the time of the unannounced inspection from the care scrutiny body.
