Rebekah Vardy has spoken about the impact the “Wagatha Christie” trial had on her in a new TV interveiw. Rebekah, 40, spoke on TalkTV for a segment titled “Coleen & Me”, which is the first time she’s spoken since she lost the libel trial that she brought against Coleen Rooney, 36.
The show featured many emotional moments and one in particular came when the wife of Jamie Vardy opened up about the impact the stress had on her while pregnant with youngest daughter Olivia.
Host Kate McCann asked her if she had days when it got “too much” and she didn’t want to get out of bed. Rebekah told her: “It did, but then I blame myself for that isolation because when you’re going through this without being pregnant might have been a different thing. “Then you add all the pregnancy hormones into everything and the emotions that come from that.
I was trying to be mum to the four children that were here.” She added: “I had to try and protect my baby as well because I had been told, in no uncertain terms, that if this stress didn’t calm itself there was a real high probability that I was going to go into preterm labour.” An emotional Rebekah added: “That really scared me”.
