Victoria had been back in the UK at the time with the couple's young kids, when Loos sold her story to the now defunct News of the World.
Beckham has always denied the claims. According to Tom Bower's new book, 'The House of Beckham', Loos decided to come forth with her allegations after allegedly observing an incident involving David and a Spanish waitress.
According to Bower, the episode seemed simple but was the trigger for her whistleblowing.He writes: "The turning point for Loos was realising Beckham's double standards.
