Sports stars have rallied around Rebecca Adlington after she shared the heartbreaking news that her baby daughter was stillborn.

Fellow athletes Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill and Adam Peaty are among those who've sent messages of support to the double Olympic gold medallist swimmer.

Rebecca, 34, revealed on Instagram on Sunday 22nd October that she and her family were "truly heartbroken" after learning the news at a routine pregnancy scan at 20 weeks.

She thanked the Wythenshawe hospital staff for their care and her husband Andrew Parsons for his "selfless support, love and help".
