Fans were gutted following the news that Megan Thee Stallion's Glasgow show had been cancelled just one week before she was due to perform, with the venue now speaking out.
The American rapper disappointed thousands of fans who were set to attend the show at the OVO Hydro on July 4 next week as the star confirmed the event had been cancelled on Wednesday, June 26.
Taking to social media, she wrote: "To my Glasgow Hotties I promise I’ll be there soon, the venue informed us of a complex construction project that will close the venue forcing us to cancel the show.
But we will find a date in the future !!! I love yall and can’t wait to see you"The venue removed the performance from its website at the time, and has now issued a statement.
