Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos says he disagrees that players' wages being cut is the best option for them to help amid the coronavirus crisis.
Madrid have not yet announced their plan of action, but their La Liga rivals Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have reduced their players' salaries by 70 percent.
Kroos, who has been at the Bernabeu since 2014, thinks players should be free to decide how they wish to donate their money, and does not see the benefit in them being paid less.
Speaking on the SWR Sport podcast, Kroos said: "Waiving salary is like a donation in vain, or to the club. It should be an option for everyone to consider.
