Prime Video‘s Reacher is once again attracting a hefty audience for Amazon. With the release of the first two episodes of Season 2, the series soared to No.
2 on the Nielsen streaming charts with 1.7B minutes viewed from December 11 to 17. This is pretty similar to the interest it got during the week that Season 1 was released, except all eight episodes dropped at once that time around.
While Nielsen doesn’t release viewership data separated by season, it’s likely that a hefty portion of Reacher’s numbers in December came from Season 2 viewing.
That makes it all the more impressive, considering there were only two new episodes. Based on the viewing during this interval, it’s safe to say Reacher will probably stick around the Nielsen charts for several weeks.
