Razzie Awards Dishonors ‘Madame Web’ With Worst Picture & More; ‘Joker’ Sequel, ‘Unfrosted’ & Coppola Make List

Madame Web is your Worst Picture of 2024, according to the Razzie Awards, which were unveiled this morning. Its star Dakota Johnson also was dishonored, as was its screenplay, making it the only three-time loser at the 45th Golden Raspberry Awards.

The full list is below. Joker: Folie à Deux and Unfrosted claimed two Razzies apiece, the latter for stars Jerry Seinfeld and Amy Schumer, and Francis Ford Coppola was named Worst Director for his passion project Megalopolis, and the pic’s Jon Voight also was named Worst Supporting Actor.

Five-time Oscar winner Coppola acknowledged the “victory” on Instagram today, writing in part: “In this wreck of a world today, where ART is given scores as if it were professional wrestling, I chose to NOT follow the gutless rules laid down by an industry so terrified of risk that despite the enormous pool of young talent at its disposal, may not create pictures that will be relevant and alive 50 years from now.” See his full post below.

Joker: Folie à Deux stars Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga were branded Worst Screen Couple. On a happier note, Pamela Anderson picked up the Razzie Redeemer prize for The Last Showgirl.
