The highly sought-after piece attracted 37 bids following an auction that spanned over five days, before eventually selling for £170.99 plus a £3.23 delivery cost.The Mirror reports the Kew Gardens 50p tends to top lists of the most valuable 50 pence pieces as there are only 210,000 still in circulation.
