Up and coming American rapper Lil Yase has been shot and killed following a Saturday morning shooting in San Francisco Bay Area.

The musician was 25-years-old and his death has been described in reports ads being ‘suspicious’ as his body was found in the southern section of the East Bay, miles from where he was last seen.

The murder of Lil Yase – whose real name was Mark Antonyyo Alexander – has shocked his circle of friends and peers. His shock death came just hours after he took to social media to wish his followers a happy Thanksgiving – and shortly after he had been meeting with friends at a recording studio in Marin County, north of San Francisco.
