US rapper Fetty Wap, real name Willie Junior Maxwell II, has been sentenced to six years in prison.The rapper who was arrested in 2021, was convicted of conspiracy to distribute cocaine, heroin, fentanyl and crack cocaine across Long Island and New Jersey.
Shortly after his arrest back in 2021, Fetty Wap was released on $500,000 bond, however, this was later revoked after he allegedly displayed a gun and threatened to kill someone during a FaceTime call.
He has remained in custody since. He plead guilty to the drug charges in August 2022, and had been facing between five and 40 years in prison.
In court, the rapper admitted to conspiring to distribute cocaine, telling the judge: "I agreed with other people to distribute cocaine.
