David Goodwillie has vowed to 'speak my truth' in a bizarre Twitter outburst after his move to Australia collapsed due to backlash.
The former Aberdeen Blackburn and Dundee United striker had penned a deal with Perth side Sorrento FC but the club were forced to rip up the deal after furious fans protested the move.Goodwillie was ruled to have raped a woman by a civil court in 2017.
The former Scotland international who was club captain at Clyde, controversially signed for Raith Rovers in January last year but they were forced to scrap the deal after fans vowed to stay away.
Now semi-pro Sorrento FC, which is managed by former St Mirren and Motherwell favourite Steven McGarry, have changed their minds about the signing after fans made it known the disgraced striker was not welcome at the club.
