Motherwell right-back Stephen O'Donnell is excellent to be competing against for Scotland's right-back slot, according to Rangers star Nathan Patterson.The 19-year-old is fighting with Motherwell's captain to be picked in Scotland head coach Steve Clarke's XI for Saturday's crucial World Cup 2022 qualifier against Israel.There has been debate in recent months over whether or not the Rangers full-back should play ahead of O'Donnell, who has been Clarke's first pick at right-back in recent times.Patterson has three caps for Scotland and 20 appearances at club level with Rangers.
