Manager Steven Gerrard has challenged the former Aberdeen man to "go up a level" to back up his bright start in Light Blue. Ryan Kent will be chomping at the bit to return to the starting XI but perhaps both men could play with Wright adept on playing either side of a main striker.

That will likely be Alfredo Morelos despite Jermain Defoe and Kemar Roofe both finding the back of the net against the League Two title challengers.
