The long-awaited SPFL EGM ended with calls for an independent inquiry struck down. In the wake of the controversial vote to end the season Rangers had called for a probe into how that decision was reached.
They won support from Hearts and Stranraer, meaning an emergency general meeting was held to vote on whether an inquiry should be held.
In each division 75 per cent support was needed but the proposal failed to garner more than 40 per cent in any of the divisions.
