Rangers have copped a whopping £35k fine from UEFA for the actions of supporters during the Champions League clash with Liverpool at Anfield.
It was a night to forget on the pitch for Gio van Bronckhorst 's men as they were steamrollered by they slumped to a 2-0 defeat to Jurgen Klopp's men during a disappointing night under the Anfield lights, before the 7-1 hammering in the clash at Ibrox a week later.
European football's governing body have now issued a series of finacial penalties to the Scottish Premiership side. The charges from UEFA are for Throwing of objects, lighting of fireworks, provocative message of an offensive nature, and violation of the UEFA Return to Play Protocol.
The fireworks offence landed them a €16.5k fine, while the offensive message and return to play violation earned €10k penalties each. €3.75k was added for the fireworks.
