Rangers are reportedly ready to come back with a third bid for Standard Liege midfielder Nicolas Raskin with Michael Beale seemingly determined to land the Belgian playmkaker.The Ibrox side are keen on 21-year-old Raskin who has been bombed out of the Standard squad after rejecting their offer of a new contract.
He will be a free agent from the summer but they have refused to sell him on the cheap and two offers from Rangers - the second worth €500,000 (£438,000) - are believed to have been booted out.
But now Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri reports Rangers are 'ready' to make a third approach to bring him in to further boost Beale's midfield options.
He's already signed Todd Cantwell while they remain hopeful of landing Swansea's Morgan Whittaker before Tuesday's deadline, however Beale says reports of a pre-contract with the Swansea man - or indeed Raskin - are wide of the mark.Beale said: "It’s not true we have signed a pre-contract with anyone.
